Hello from Germany ! This is my newest work, Marco Colombo. I have to try to paint him in some other colours, like blue and yellow colour. I need comments to improve my painting style :)
Thx for help......Koradhil

Wood on base looks great! White on tunic could use a deeper shadow. Armor looks great. Metal equipment in hand looks like less attention was paid. Pointing hand looks like it has more red tones than rest of the skin. Feathers look drybrushed.

Hey neat mini! I would agree that the whites are lacking in depth. Usually I prefer a dry brush look to hair and feathers but the modelling of the feathers in this mini are poor with really wide spacing ... blending might have worked better in this case.
Really great wood base.

Very nice metals and subtle colors. The whites do look a little bit on the flat side, epecially on the feather. Maybe a bit more gray in there might help that...maybe not.

I agree about the white and how the feathers and rope lack depth. I do feel that the color choices are excellent! A+ Keep it up!

The bottle at his waist is fantastic! I think the feather would benefit from a glaze to lose some of the stark contrast and wide spaces, but otherwise a very clean paintjob!

Good color choices! That blue and yellow in his sleeves works well... Very clean.
Also nice to see some metallic metals, as well! Good job, and interesting fig.

Agree with ThePolo, great to see real metallics used . I think I might have gone with brass for the telescope though to add some contrast. Colors are nicely done, really like the breast plate. Good work.

What a great model. I like the color selection, overall, but I feel the feathers on his cap could have benefited from some more color.

Like the blue-yellow combo a lot. The leaves on his breastplate look great, as does the plate itself. I agree with some of the other posters that the feathers and the rope are weaker points. Great job overall, though.

This mini has character. The painting is pretty good with a very nice color scheme. I agree with the others who have commented on the feathers and ropes. Still, a very nicely painted mini.
