Pirate Girl - by Hal (aka Cade) - Hal M. O'Donnell (Cade)

Description	:	One of the things I did for this piece was add the wooden base. She comes on a very small integrated base of a couple of wooden planks. So, I sculpted the rest with green stuff. For the NMM steel, I work with black, intermediate blue, pale blue grey and white. All vallejo model colors. The hair is a custom mix based off of VMC calvary red and VGC scrofulous brown. The base on the brown leather was VGC leather brown. I used scorched brown for shading and mixed bone white and bronzed flesh to the base for highlighting. Sorry for deleting someone's comment. I switched photos. This shows the base a little better. I really wish I knew how to use my camera. :(

The blade is very nice, I like the hair and the skintone as well. The base idea is also good, although I don't see why that particular piece stands upwards, what I don't like that much. It's a pity that the face can not be seen.

Wow.Awesome color pallette, and flawless execution. Everything seems neatly defined, and both gold and steel NMM are excellent. Not quite sure what's with the raised plank on the base, but it sure adds a level of storytelling to the piece.

Hmmmmm.. for some reason when I look at this mini I get a little emotionally ...erect! ;P Anyway I really like the skintones! I would like to see her face face forward. The NMM and GNM are flawless!!! A+++
