Stern Kestrelmann - Rick Peterson (houseofdexter)

Description	:	Other than the purple of the cloak...about 95% of this figure was painted using Goldens Acryllic Tubes... The NMM on the armor and sword was painted using Goldens: Titanium White, N8-N2 Grays and Mars Black...I really liked the ease of blending the paints with these tubes... The Gold is Goldens Burnt Umber, Vallejo's Snakebite Leather and Goldens Primary Yellow... The Purple is GW's Imperial Purple, with Partha's Purple...highlited up with Vallejo's Model Master Azure. The Reds are all Goldens...Quinacridone Crimson, Naphthol Red Medium and Light...the jury is still out on these paints...the Q. Crimson is very shiny and needs to matted down..but is a gorgeous deep red. I used layering/feathering on all the NMM...I always use a Masterson's Wet Palette... Oh and Thanks Philip for the beautiful pics...

Gorgeous NMM. The cloak and tabard are it's only weakest spots, I think, although the heraldry on the tabard is top notch

Nice gemstones, and the NMM is pretty good as well. I didnt finish my entry for this month which is also my first attempt at NMM. I will submit it next month however if I finish it in time. The face could use some more highlights as well as the hair. Nice mini!

Rick, I held this mini (and took these pictures), and I didn't even realize it was NMM. That's pretty impressive! Nice freehand, too.

Wow, at first glance I thought the armour was real metallic. It's a great job, weathered and yet still gleaming. I like the freehand on the tabard, very nicely done.

The sword is tha shit!!!! It is Fantastic!!! It looks as if you did the NMM, MMM! I'm not crazy about the glossy red cloak. Damn that sword rocks!!! Hope Gods listening and helps give me the power to do great NMM like you!
