Bounty huntress

Bounty huntress - Przemyslaw Jeske (Przemas)
Description : well , i`m not sure I`ll finish another mini till the end of the month so I`ve decided to enter with this one :).
It`s my first Reaper mini and I must admit that this Werner Klocke`s sculpt is simply lovely.
First I`ve primed the model black :). I`ve tried a new skintone recipe on this piece. First I`ve coated it with vallejo mc medium fleshtome mixed with a tiny blob of vallejo gc dark fleshtone. next came pure medium fleshtone. I`ve started adding elf flesh till I was painting with pure elf flesh. Then I made some final highlights with elf flesh/ skull white.
Most of the leather (except skirt - ????- which was covered with dark flesh and highlighted with desert yellow) parts are scorched brown, bestial brown, snakebite leather, bubonic brown.
the swirls were simple addition , but I think they work well on this mini. I`ve used snakebite leather, bubonic brown and skull white on them. part from this detail I opted for ordinary metalics. Here and there you could find some rust achieved with dilute washes of chestnut and black inks.
I wanted the blouse to be lighter than rest of the model. I`ve used vallejo mc dark blue grey, wolf grey and white on it.
here are there you could spot some tourquise parts. to prevent them to be too eye catchy and bright I added a tiny drop of black to both scaly green and jade green.
after the mini was basically completed I`ve added some extra details like red fingernails, face on the parchment etc.
Definitely this mini was fun. Hope you like it. I look forward to paint another Reaper soon :).

Best wishes
Przemas

Nicely done. I love the freehand you've done on this mini. Very cool. Something about the highlights on the skin on her chest looks a bit weird...like she has two collarbones or something.

I really like this sculpt, myself, but the 17 or so buckles make it low on my list of things to paint. :-p

Ahhh Very nice! I'm glad to see an accual shine on the armor! The detail work is great! I like the wanted scroll, very cool. Everything is great but I would of liked to see a little more pop with the hair, maybe with more highlights!
A++ great Job!

I like it a lot! The skin colour is really nice, and it's good to see some metallics once in a while. The armour on the legs is fantastic!
I agree with Larry though that the hair needs a few more highlights, and I'd like to see a bigger pic as well.

The scroll is nicely done, and I like the blue - it makes the figure stand out more than if it were close in tone to the rest of her clothes. The hair probably needs another highlight, but overall very nice.

I find the painting to be excellent, from the skin tone, to the freehand on both tabard and parchment.

The tall grass, on the other hand, doesn't quite do the mini justice, IMHO. I think a slightly larger base would have given it the space necessary to both have the tall grass and display the mini withouth cluttering the composition.

skintones and leather look great! I like the idea of the base but the grass on the back looks a bit flat for some reason. Metals also look very nice.

Excellent freehand on the skirt.

Lovely work! I unfortunately can't think of anything specific to add that someone else hasn't covered already. :->
