Aurelius Van Risink from Warcrow. Very cool model. I tried on this mini, to give the impression of a battle hardened warrior. Yellow tanned flesh, and a lot of freehand scratches in his armour. I also made his cloth look worn, with the dirt at the bottom and the freehand 'stitches'. I also tried to applie a rust-effect in the NMM on his armour.

Rune,
Looks good from here! Neat mini.
How do you get such a crisp clean look to your figs??
Looks like you are in the running again for this month!

Fantastic!
I love the earthtones with the bold outlining you do on your NMM, it makes the mini look sort of like a graphic novel character. I think the Orc head though is a little close in color to the clothing, I think it would be better a little different. But maybe not, as the overall color scheme works well.

There is definitely a sense of an anime style here. I like the clean look of this figure. The sword really comes off well with the freehand nicks in it. The back of the hand holding the sword however doesn't come off right. Maybe it is the jaundiced look of the skin.

I love the NMM, and the cloth on this one. The skintones look a bit on the yellow side to me. I really don't like this sculpt at all, though.

Unfortunately I'm not crazy about the sculpt! The skin is rather yellow try adding more red. Most importantly is that if I was a guy who chopped off a monsters head, There would be Blood of somekind on the neck and coming out the creatures mouth. I feel that adding that would help alot more. On a whole you did a fantastic Job! Most people take the coolist mini and still F#c& it up. You take one of the worst mini sculpts and make it great! A+++++

Your NMM is just unbelievable! I like that it's rather dark and not too shiny. The hair is also very well done, it's hard to do black hair that looks black but still is highlighted, but you have really managed to do it well. I have to agree with the previous people on the skin tone though, it's too yellow for my taste, but that's the only downside to this mini.

The NMM is some of the best I have seen - what colors did you use for it? His hair is nicely done too, dark hair is always hard to pull off. The color scheme gives a wonderfully dark and somber look to the figure.

The NMM is great, and I too love the 'bold' blacklining effect... It really makes the armor pop.
Not sure if it's what you were going for, but the cloak/robe has a litle bit of a shiny cast to it. Kinda neat. And I can see what folks mean by the jaundiced look, but I think the face has a bit of an eastern flavor, so I think it fits.

Rune, another awesome paintjob, very sharp and clean. Love the dirt affect on the robes and the hand painted scratchs on the armor are a nice touch.
Great work.

Absolutely beautiful piece. the strongets point have to be the NMM and all the extra detailing you worked into this guy.
The severed head looks a bit too neat, IMHO.

The NMM looks wonderful, and the scratches you added are a great addition. It's an interesting contrast to see a mini so absolutely clean in execution of the paint job but depicting a 'messy' scene. I love the hair, both on the victor and victim. I have to agree with the other folks who find this skintone a bit too yellowish.
