The rock is a piece of the blue styrofoam,I carved it with an exacto and hit it with a sharp rock for texture. Frodo was painted using GW paints, i tryed to make it look like he was being illuminated by the lava far below him in Mt Doom. The way i did that was i painted him in mostly browns, moving up to light brownish oranges. I doubt this will win, but i figure there is no harm entering:-] Please leave any comments you may have. Thanks

Very nice work. You have done a nice job on the illumination on the rocks, and achieved rich warm tones on his clothing.

Great paintjob on Frodo but I must admit I don`t like the rock. It looks very plain and drybrushing left a very dirty effect which in my opnion does not fit such amazingly blended mini :).

Very nice work, and not something I had seen before. I think the rock is perfect, myself - it's volcanic rock, it ain't supposed to be clean. :)

Very nice with a such a simple figure...lighting looks very good...
The feet need to be worked on...where the feet meet the base...
The part of the rock that I don't like...are the small horizontal crevises...they are to dark for how shallow they are...
