Legion of the Damned Term. Capt. by Jason Pyett

Description	:	This mini was my first attempt at doing real conversion work. I spent about 42 hours in all on this piece. It was painted with Vallejo and Citadel paints. There were a couple other firsts for me on this piece like the first time I did marble tiles (on the display base) and the first time using the sponging technique (also on the display base). Very nice. The bone coloring looks very realistic and I love the scenic base. The one constructive thing I would add is that I'd like to see the wood on the display base stained.

Very well done...nice bone work...and the base is top notch... Things...heh...stain the base...you...might also think about lighting up the top of the ruins where the light would be reflected from the torches...

Really excellent paint job. The face looks a little too smiley for me. He kind of looks damned happy.

Very nicely done, it's hard to find fault on this one. The sword is excellent, and I like all the blacks. The golds could be shaded a bit heavier perhaps. And why is it that the skulls atop the banner are yellow at the base, red up top, whereas the banner itself is the wrong way around?
