Redhead by Astonia

Description	:	This is a mini I painted for Assassin Miniatures. I chose a classic red/green theme on this one, becasue it was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw her. I tried a new colour mix for the sword this time, which worked out really well I have to say. What I did was I used the grey colours I normally do, but I added a little GW Shadow grey to the mix. I came out really nice I think. The gold is painted with VMC flat earth/ochre brown/yellow ochre/sand yellow/bone white and finally a small touch of pure white. (I have to thank Mayne Thiele for that recipie though, even if I modified it a little. The hair is GW Vermin brown/bronzed flesh/VMC bone white, with washes of GW terracotta. Hope you like her :)

I really like the color scheme here. The hair is a nice shade too. The best thing is the face though, nice and smooth. Not your fault, but that is a weird sculpt on the stomach.
