Adventurer On Side of Castle By MasterTickles

Adventurer On Side of Castle By MasterTickles
Description : I did this a week ago after being inspired by BeezleBrush's "Where's that darn'd Door?" (Excellent Job BTW) I'm not sure if all of you know but I paint minis for a living and I thought to my self Cork Board? That might be a new ebay direction for me. I decided to go out and get some wonderful Cork Board. I LOVE IT! This Miniature is the first one of many I completed. I first painted the adventurer from Grenadier in NMM for the sword and GNMM for the buttons and buckle. I made the base with a wooden disk that I use alot with my minis. I then used Zap-a-Gap and combined it with a mix of sand and gravel. After painting the base I used static grass and lightly painted yellow highlights on the tips of the grass. I used Reaper Paints and a few Citadel. This is my first time to paint the sword NMM so please tell me how I did. You can see more of my Cork Creations later this week on my website www.larryboos.com Thanks! MT

The situation seems to me as an adventurer entering a castle in ruin, if that was your attempt you succeded in it :) the sword seems ok to me.

yes they are castle ruins! Thanks for the comment and I'll do better next time on the sword!

Very nice scene :) The sword looks good to me. I think the wall could have used some more work, maybe some glazing with browns and greens.
