The Emperor by gabriele Serrini RollJordan

The Emperor by gabriele Serrini RollJordan
Description : This figure was completelly scratch built exept for the arm with the sword (I used the Emp Champ arm) It is my first attempt to sculpt a full figure. For the painting I tryied to use darker highlights and more contrast to give a more gothic look at the figure and enhanche the details. And cover some sculpt mistakes ;) and there are a lot of them ;) On the back I tried to make a design to fit the character of the figure. The flames on the sword where done in a hurry to complete the project and didn't come out that great... hmmm next figure will be different. Overall 20 hrs for sculpting and about 24/30 for painting it.

This miniature is amazing. Superb sculpting/conversion work. Great paint job too. I love the NMM gold. If I was to nit pick, I'd say that I'd like to see more color. There is so much gold, the mini looks very monochromatic. The second thing is the flames on the sword don't look right to me. The painting of them is great, its the shape/sculpting that looks off. All in all, the mini is fantastic.

This is lovely work. Your freehand is excellent. The only thing I'm not keen on is the mouth. He looks like he's making a noise like chewbacca... it's a really minor point of opinion though when taking this as a whole. Uber!
