Black Paladin by Beelzebrush

Black Paladin by Beelzebrush
Description : I really like these figures. They have bags of menacing character. This is the second from the blister that I've finished so far and so I thought I'd enter him into this month's GT.

The NMM basecoat is a mix of Imperial Blue, German Grey and Cold Grey. The highlights are Cold grey + Ghost Grey (great colour!) and a little white. I actually can't remember the recipe I used for gold but I do remember it went on quite green as the basecoat. I'm pleased with the shield (close up in painter folder) and the colours used were based in the above. I think for the face I used Camo Green and Dead Flesh and then glazed it with various W&N acrylic ink before highlighting. I wish I could remember the colours I used for the bone thing on the back too :/

The base is part of a Grendel Kit that I cut down... I'm going to set the Paladins + Kain onto a scenic base at some point and will use the rest of the kit then I think.

Anyway, with the time restraints due to the Christmas shopping rush at GameMart, I had to abandon my original entry but I hope you like this one.

Cheers!

Very nice work - the base is excellent. The shield is hard to see in these shots, but looks good with nice contrast with the 3 colors there. One of my favorites this month!
