Vidor, Northman by Foley

Description	:	Ok, so this guy is a fairly heavy experiment in NMM. I'm particularly happy with the gold, using VGC Cobra Leather, Golden Yellow and Bald Moon Yellow with white hilites. The scale armor was a challenge, and especially the sword was tough. Most of the rest of it was pretty straight forward. Thanks!

Great Job!!, will you please explain a little bit more the armor painting and the figure where come from? I mean the brand. Excellent single base.

I really like whatyou did here, so much in factthatI just ordered this miniature (Creek, the mini is by Reaper by the way). The only thing that doesn't work for me is the sword. I can't realy put my fingeroln it,but it just doesn't seem very metallic. The armor and the gold are excellent however :)

Sorry for the long delay in answering. As Gunji said, this is a Reaper sculpt. The armor itself was painted with VMC Dark Grey as a base and successively stronger white hilites. I am still working toward finding a mid-tone that I find tolerable. As for the gold, I basically stared at my wedding ring while painting the bracelets, trying to get it to look 'right'. Too bad I don't have anything shaped like the design on the sword...... ;) Thanks for the comments!
