Ogre Bull Champ by Jason Pyett

Description	:	This is the first try for me at the new ogre bulls by GW. This is also another first for me, this is the beginning of my first entry for the Canadian Golden Demons coming up. The skin I believe is by far the best part of the mini. It is done with a base of violet brown then highlighted with middle stone then Medium grey then deck tan and with a final highlight of ivory. I also am very pleased with how the belly plate came out especially the teeth. Unfortunately I am still stuck with a 2mb camera for a bit so u miss out on the striations on the teeth that make them look incredibly sharp. U will just have to take my word for it ;) The NMM is a revision on my old recipe. Starts with a base of dark grey then highlighted with Sombre grey, azure blue, ghostly grey then finally white. The blood splatters and streaks were very fun to do. I used scab red for the streaks and used the flicking method for the spatter. Wow Jason, if you don't mind my saying, I think this is your best work to date. Beautiful selection of colors and excellent blending. If he's part of a unit, I can't wait to see the rest.

No I don't mind at all :D Thats a HUGE compliment coming from you. He will be part of a 5 man... Ogre unit on a display based littered with empire soldiers and Gnoblars.

Howdy - As I said elsewhere - I like this guy. I think my fav bitz this time around are the belly plate, the trap in his hand, and those great swords on his back. Great!
