Templar Knight

Templar Knight
Description : My first entry to the GT's for several months. Experimenting with freehand, NMM. Was especially happy with the shield (including nicks/battle damage) and the sword. Standard tools of the trade used, Vallejo colors, etc.

A simple model. The sword blade is very nice. The gold is a bit too orange I think. And the chain could use a bit more depth across the links. The purple is nice, and the freehand looks good.

Clean strong colours, good motif, dazzling NMM... gj

Really excellent NMM especially on the blade and the shield. I agree that the chain mail needs a dark wash but I like the gold. I would like to see bigger pix, because the blending on the metals is superb.
