Here is my entry, now with correct pictures :) It's the first time I enter the toadstool, and I don't expect to win but to learn some new things and expose the weaknesses in my technique. this model was painted entirely in Vallejo acryllics, a mixture of game and model colours. The horse neck was resculpted to cover up the conversion, and the quilt under the saddle and the zombie hair were sculpted as well. ( poorly, but self made :) Two very thick pins are holding the horse in place.
Poll results: Number 5 overall. Second Place: 2 votes Third Place: 2 votes

That's better. The cloth looks really well done all over. I like the horse's mane also. Excellent job on the freehand. The gray cork is the only thing that looks rushed. Still, a beautiful piece.

The overall scene is great, really tells a story. I like how you did the zombie's skin. The freenhand on the horse's cloth is very cool. The gems look a little rough, as does the highlighting on the cat.

Any amount of conversion is great imho. I esp. like the horses tabard - the freehand, the gems and the colour itself. Good base.
