Necrosurgeon and Stitch Thrall by endrem

Necrosurgeon and Stitch Thrall by endrem
Description : This is my first entry in the Golden Toadstools. Long time I haven't really had time to paint, but I managed to finish these guys recently. It took me about 12 hours to paint them. While painting I basically made some experiments on metallics and sick skin tones. I'm pretty satisfied with the result, although the picture looks a bit dull, especially on the metallic parts. Well, that's what I could do with my photography knowledge :).
All comments are welcome. I know, the blood is too bright, take it as freshly splashed from an arterial wound :).

There is a bigger picture with more views in my album.

Awesome job on the figures. I really like the skintones. My only complaint, would be that the sand on the base doesn't live up to the figures I feel it needs grass or rocks or something. Still, excellent figures.

Those are definitely sick skintones! I also really like the shift in colours on the necrosurgeon's skirt.

Uugh. Those skin tones are seriously sick (take as compliment ;) Experiments like that are always important in the process of perfecting one's painting and modelling skills.
