Reaper Templar Knight

Reaper Templar Knight
Description : This was a practice piece I started a few months ago and finished at the first of this month. I've been practicing the tinting of metal by changing shade colors, which is what I did here with a few colors from the violet/purple family. I also added some weathering and such to the shield. The metals are done with vallejo colors, the purples with reaper master series.

Excellent job on the plate metals. The chainmail looks too uniform and could use some contrast. I really like the freehand on the tabard. Is the background paper or photoshop?

Wonderfully clean paint job! The metals overall look great, although I agree the chainmail is a bit lacking, and the shadow line on the shield doesn't quite seem natural. The freehand is great, and I really like the blue steel look on the sword.
