Imperial Guard by kukn
Description : GT entry n. 2, after a half-year break. This bloke is part of a 5-man squad. I didn't do much converting here, just a slight repositioning of the arms to hold the flamer properly. I used a different method for painting the metal, which I found more appropriate for the models in case. Almost forgot - ignore the base, it's so the army has the same and I'm too lazy to improve it on all the rest. Otherwise, you can view the whole unit at http://www.coolminiornot.com/115795.

Skin - base: 50/50 Pallid Flesh and Vomit Brown, shade: 25/75 Bestial Brown & Vomit Brown, highlight: base colour
Metal - base: Chaos Black, highlight: Mithril Silver
Black - base: Chaos Black, drybrush: damp 75/25 Chaos Black & Skull White
Red - base: Blood Red, shade: 75/25 Chaos Black & Blood Red, highlight: base colour
Yellow - base: Sunburst Yellow, shade: Leprous Brown, highlight: base colour, 2nd highlight: added Skull White, 3rd highlight: Skull White

In my opinion you need to thin your paints they seem quite thick especially around the forehead.
Pretty good brush control, just more practice needed. Not bad.

Nice job on the eyes, that is usually a tough thing for many people.

I hate eyes. As for the paints, I try to keep them thin. Unfortunately, some of them are rather old and they dry like hell, but my financial situation doesn't allow me to replenish my stock very often. Thanks for the advice though, I'll concentrate more on that next time.
