Melek Blackmarrow by DocItalicus
Description : My interpretation of the Reaper's mini. Many tries on it...The cloak first, with the blending between two really different colours, going from shadow grey to fiery orange...then the sword, trying the effect of electric lightinings and other source lighting...the same has been applied to the chest. The internal part of the cloak wishes to simulate old velvet with a very patient paintjob...last but not least the base, sculted in the cork and to which I applied both the lava effect for the whole block, and the other source lighting to the wall, made by the torch...it was a real pleasure to paint it and a good attempt for different techniques...

I love the blending on the cape of this figure, the light source effects are really good also.

Very, very good piece.

I particulary like the color you choose on the cloack and the base you make! Bravissimo Doc, an incedible grow up in painting skills!

Beautiful paint job. Nice blending on the cloak and I really like the lava effect. A lighter background might have made it better or maybe a dark green like Fredy. Excellent job.
