Ilyad Games

Ilyad Games
Description : I took a bit of a break from painting and jumped back into it with this guy. This is the first Ilyad mini I have painted and I have to say they make great sculpts. He is made of apoxy which I found a bit different to paint than the metal. I was happy with the overall look of him but I was very pleased with the red cape which took me a long time. Lots of layering.

The gold NMM is excelent and very good looking also the silver NMM. The red seems to be excelent as well, I only have a concern about a too empty base...for such a good looking mini I would have worked a little more on the base

An excellent paintjob, apart from the base (as Doc already said) the only other concern I would have is the hands, thet seem like they could do with a bit more highlights.

Yes, really nice job with the red. As others said, the base and the hands need a little help.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the hands didn't come out to great. Part of that was the color choice aswell as the sculpt. For some reason they look a bit like bone hands to me. I don't know maybe they were trying for some kind of glove. As for the base I usually do a elaborate base but with this guy I wanted to keep it simple and bring out the mini. Thanks again.
