Blond Arwen (other views available in my gallery - made finalist at french GD 2006)

Description	:	Other views available here : http://www.electricocean.com/gt/Kow-Lown It's my vision of a blond Arwen. Why i made her blond? Well, i thought she'll be prettier like this and was very bored seeing black brown hair Arwens with blue grey coat... I tried to made her very feminine in the face and clothes, very simple. The base is my own sculpt but the oak leaves (photoetched parts). I think the dark base autumn like gives a good contrast with the blond arwen with quite bright colors. If you look well at the pics you'll see she's brighter when you approach the source light( the sun ). The boots are in a dark color, then the coat is lighter (dark green highlighted in light green with zenithal and then the face color and last the white blond hair). It make the face to be very attractive as it's the best part of the mini. I also made a hard work on lightning, and that's why i invite you to have a look to my gallery to see the aerian picture so you'll be able to see the lighting properly. Nice work. The color of the hands looks too close to the color inside the sleeves at this size. Same with the boots and the base. I love the raven.

Indeed a nice face, especially for the scale these are sculpted. I like the base too, though the wood and leaves could benefit from some more highlighting to get to the level of the mini itself.

She is beautifully painted and rather nice to see her with blonde hair! IMHO I think she should be standing slightly closer to the tree, as it looks a bit 'left and right' at the moment. But having said that, its a very nice piece. Super work.
