This is my interpretation of Hasslefree Miniatures 2nd Anniversary Mjolnir. He has been painted in a mix of GW and Vallejo paints and NMM (as you can probably tell!).
I used a new recipe for the gold - VMC US Olive Drab --> Green Ochre --> Ivory --> White, followed by various brown and US Olive drab inkwashes.
I varnished the model with Testors Dull Cote, and then glossed the gems and his mouth. My secret with the gems is to pile on a big mound of gloss varnish to give it a thick transparent gloss finish!
Thanks all!

Awesome work, Avicenna. I can't see any flaws on this at all.

Great job on the pants! I really dig how the stripes came out. The gems on the shield look cool, too.

Beautiful skin as usual. Base looks great. There is something odd about the pant stripes, but I can't put my finger on it. They are very cleanly painted though. Gems look great. Your blending is very nice all around.

I loved the first one you did, but this special edition one is just awesome! You have no equal with your fleshtones (still can't reproduce them!) and the NMM is beautiful. *sigh*
