The flesh was a Dwarf/elf flesh mix layered up from a beasty brown basecoat. As the sunburnt-look began to emerge I decided to go with it.
The metallics were a mix of Coat d’ Arms and Vallejo, worked up from dark to light with black/brown ink washes between each stage.
For the tattoos I used a mix of magic blue and blue ink. I wanted them to look faded, but maybe went too far with the flesh wash (thinned dwarf flesh.)
For the tartan I followed the tutorial at Jenova. The green is VMC Luftwaffe uniform highlighted with GW goblin green. The brown lines are beasty brown with a little white added for the highlight.

Nice job on most everything. The blade looks like it needs something, and the shield maybe needs some highlighting on the rim. cheers.

The tattoos are maybe a little too faded, but otherwise look great, nice realistic colour. I also like the tartan, and his bracers. Base is well suited. Shading on the sword looks a little rough.
