Almost forgot to post this here... I finished it the end of last month, just before Origins. It was my origins entry (that did not place).
I wanted to experiment with Brass again. I think I got it better this time, than last time, the addition of some greens in the shadows helps.
For the base I used a Groundforge base. They are aweful nifty. Seems a bit cheesy perhaps for a contest piece, but saves a lot of time, while still looking decent. Comments are welcome as usual.

Looks great, very effective colour scheme and nice clean painting. The base doesn't seem to mesh with the mini super well, but that's a minor point.

Menghu, really nice job on the shading and details. Just when I thought I had a chance at a toadstool. Hope to see you at GenCon in a couple of weeks.

Howdy - very nice! I particularly like the 'indoor/outdoor' feel of the base. On the brass, it looks amazing - but I would not have thought brass at first glance... so everything you need in a gt piece, good color, clean lines, evocative. Nice - peace
