hi all, sorry as always for my orrible english, hope you understand me :). this is my last commission work, i've do a simple conversion axe for the hammer, and a shield in the back of miniature. i painted this whit almost possible real historical style, whit a very limitated colour palette of various leather. for the skin i use tanned flash+marron cuero+ graveyeard heart for the base, kommando kaki for layering and them bleached bone and skull white. after i have a non satured colour, so i've done many passage of wash and glazyng with scab red and scorced brown for give a reddish look. for all the cloats i do the same things with anoter colour, but i put in alla the colour a little kommando kaki and a waash of scab+scorced for create a look very similar and realistic in the mini.
for the metal i work washing and glazyng with black green brown and many many passage.
sorry for my orrible feedback but my english is like that. hope you understand me even if is like that.
by to alla i appreciate your comments and good luck to all for the contest.
bye Franciuus :D

I really like the metal and the freehand on the shield. The scars look too much the same. I like the snowy base.

Indeed, the skin is very well done, all comes together in a really awesome way. Thanks for describing everything so detailed! Awesome ambient...hrks...I'm not awake yet, someone help me finding the words! The light works out very good too, if I had to give you some feedback, maybe the hair needed some more light/reflections, but it could be the angle he holds his head...just a really great miniature...keep it up :)

The limited and realistic palette looks fantastic, I love the supple look of the leathers. The skin is superb, also, and the shield. I agree with Trovarion that a few reflections spots on the hair are something that could add to this, though it's pretty wonderful as it is.
