Sorceress

Sorceress
Description : I used green stuff on the base then painted it with lighting effects on the rocks. Her stockings are freehand. I added alot of trim to the robe to break up the colores a bit. For some reason my lights reflect off the purple color giving it a slight glossy look that does not occure in real life. Not sure how to get rid of it but oh well.

I think the OSL on this mini is very good. The NMM on the blade on her staff could use a little work it seems a bit rough some more blending would get rid of that.

Do you use GW Liche Purple for the cloak? I always have that glossy sheen with GW's Purple. If anyone out there knows how to take the sheen of this I would be glad to hear it.

The rock is a bit rough and ready.

But apart from that a good job.

I really like this piece, and feel it has a very animee feel to it. The base is great but my favourite bit has to be the freehand stockings, a very cool touch!

Very pretty. The OSL on the base is great. I also like the NMM of the staff head, and the purple is very nicely highlighted. I think her hair needs a bit more highlighting. I like the idea of the stockings, and the painting of them is good, I just don't feel like they fit with the overall look of the rest of the mini and how its been painted.

A little spray on Dullcote would probably take care of the shine. It would also darken the purple and the wood, which to me could both use a little brighter highlights. Also the rock needs some variation. I love the OSL.
Also, put your name in the title.
