Description : This lass is Isabelle from Hasslefree miniatures. I wanted to try a few things that I have not tried before on her, so I decided to give them a go. First, I haven't painted see-through or "wet" cloth before, so I wanted her towel to appear this way. Easy enough really, I painted and shaded the towel white, and then added some of my flesh colors to the areas closest to her skin. I feathered them out with the whites as the cloth fell away from her leg, and began to feather in some greys of the rock underneath the rest. Pretty cool actually, though I am not sure how great it really looks :)
I also wanted to try something interesting with the rock overhang. I painted a stylized water pattern on the base under the rock in various spots, and once the rock was finished, I estimated where to paint some wobbly light reflections on the rock from the water. Could be a really cool effect if used in a scene or diorama...
Anyways, all of the colors used are either Citadel (for the flesh tones, hair and water) or Vallejo model color (for the cloth and rocks).

Beautiful job overall. I think the transparent towel looks great. I think all that bare skin could maybe use a little more highlighting. Still, very nice.
