Krieg commissar
Description : Another great model from FW.

I created the trence scene by first cutting a block of polysyrene and sticking inonto half of the base. I then put poyfiller (spackle?) onto it tocreath the texture. I also added some sand at this stage. I then used some more polyfille on the floor and put some blister plastic to tidyup the edges.

The snow is simply bicarbonate of soda (baking powder) that i sprinkled on to create the thick snow on the trench top and pasted it on for the dirty snow at the bottom (to this i added some brown paint)

I hope you like the piece

I like the painting on the main figure quite a bit, there's some particularly nice work on the coat and trim. The overall scene is great, together with the weathering on the figure it really conveys a feeling of cold, dirty and uncomfortable war.
