This little fellow is one of the new GW plastics skeletons. I painted him as if he were marching at night, like any good undead host should. The intended light source is coming from behind, and I tried to pay attention to the light and shadow as much as possible throughout the process. I stuck to desaturated and neutral colours where ever possible. He was painted using layering and washing techniques almost exclusively. Only Citadel paints were used (including foundation paints for basecoats). Every layer was a mixture of paints, so it's hard to repeat that information here. If you want to see the exact mixes and a step by step guide you can check out my article on Coolmini here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/article/aid/691. Thanks for looking.

I think you pulled off the night-time look very well! I'll have to check out the article to see how you did it.

Great moonlit look to this! It's very atmospheric, and the subtle touches of colour make this very interesting to look at, something I probably haven't said about a skeleton too often!
