Father Ted
Description : He is painted with some zenithal lighting with some NMM. The paints are mainly P3 from Privateer and some Vallejo and GW paints.
Skin - P3 Khardic flesh as a base, Sanguine Base as a shade along with touch of Exile blue for deepest flesh shadows, and highlighted with VGC Pale flesh then P3 Menoth White Highlight.
His clothes were kept very soft and in the same colour family. Base colour used for the cowl is a mix of Cryx bane Highlight and Hammerfall Khaki. Highlight are made with the Hammerfall khaki and Menoth white. Shadows with washes OF VMC Smoke.
The tunic base is Jack Bone and Menoth White highlights, deep shadows with VMC smoke. There is an intricate detailing on his holy book done in NMM.
The metals are for the silver as P3 Coal Black, highlighted up with Menoth White. The steel of the mace is P3 Great coat Grey highlighted with Morrow white. Gold formula is GW snake bite leather highlighted with Menoth White and shadows made by mixing black with the Snakebite leather.
Holy Book is P3 Sanguine base, Sanguine highlight and Jack bone for highlight. Gold detailing as NMM.
As you can see much of the same colours was used throughout the mini, even on his ground. This helps tie the mini together and show more natural.
.Thanks for looking at my mini, and reading all this. :D

The color scheme does flow together well, without the individual parts running together. Nice base too.

I really like how the robe came out (apart from a couple of shadows on his back shoulder area). The piece as a whole looks great. You might highlight the tops of his cheeks, end of his chin and nose just a touch more to draw a bit more attention to the face, which you've painted very expressively.
