High Elf Hero - Front View

Description	:	I am submitting the limited edition High Elf Hero that was offered for sale at last year's Gamesday. Because High Elves tend to be very bright, I thought this would be a great time to try out a Chrome reflective NMM style. The Armor is painted using VMC Azure as a base for the blue and adding for successive layers. This i blended together to try and get the gradual shading. For the area below the horizon line, I used VGC Beasty Brown with white added. For more details on the painting, I have a loger write-up on the forum. Hope you like it.

Terry, This is quite nice for a 1s atempt at Chrome NMM. Although I must say that I like the trim on the cloak better. Jack

Great first try at chrome NMM. I like the fact that you have matched the 'earth' reflection and your base in terms of colors - something you don't always see, but necessary to look convincing imho.

Very nice piece. The chrome effect is shown at it's best on the blade, in my opinion, but the small details like the freehand on the cloak, and the jewel work makes it a really strong contender for the Showdown.
