Colonial Marine Veteran Sargeant by Glyn

Colonial Marine Veteran Sargeant by Glyn
Description : This is my first Urban Mammoth figure from their new Urban War line. She was actually painted up as a birthday present for a good friend who came up for a paint meet all the way from Minneapolis!
The green jacket was painted with Vallejo Reflective green, using black to shade and VGC Bonewhite for highlighting. The inside of the coat and the boots were done using black, Vallejo German Grey and Bonewhite. The hair is a mix of Vallejo Cadmium Maroon, some Citadel Oranges, Yellow and Bonewhite. The metal parts are all done in NMM, using Vallejo Black Grey, Intermediate Blue, Wolf Grey and white. The gold is done with Citadel's Bestial Brown, Snakebite Leather, Vallejo Golden Yellow, and white.
The basing is my standard painted base with craft glue over top to look like icy water :D
There are more pics in my User album :P

Gorgeous Zaph. You just get better and better, you have a really arty style of painting... its hard for me to explain but I can always spot a Zaph-mini :)

Nice Glyn!! I've been pretty quite of late so I thought I'd speak up on this job. The blending in the greens is top notch!! As Zordana mentioned you really have a style all to your own.

Love the greens, I may have to steal it. Too bad I can't steal the smooth blends.

Your style is pretty easily recognizable. It was obvious this mini is yours :) Great and smooth paintjob. Cool colors and the oeverall style of the mini.

I think what helps me spot a Zaphod mini is the little Z on the base. (just kidding) I think it is the little details that you do so well, and the way that so many of your minis have personality. Great stuff.

Well Done, another really nicely painted figure from yourself.

Excellent
