Ultra dread by LavronYor

Ultra dread by LavronYor
Description : This is my latest piece and I have been working in wetblending on the blues. It started with a Night blue basecoat and then with wet Night blue at the bottom and wet enchanted blue at the top, I kind of feathered them together, or used several horizontal brushstrokes to slowly bring the Enchanted down to meet the Night. I then went back and highlighted the Enchanted Blue. The Metal areas are just a dark grey highlighted up to a light grey and the NMM gold is Charred brown, then Beasty, then Plague brown, then Golden Yellow and White. The whole dread is magnetized, so that the arms are all interchangeable. Please feel free to question or comment. Peace....

The blues are nice, although I would like to see a greater range of color from the darkest to the lightest. The gray NMM is the weakest point. Normal metallics with inks would probably have been a better choice for such a large amount of metal.

Great job on this one Michael. I like the front view much better, as the blues are great and the gold is nice too. Good use of weathering effects.
