Description : My first painting after a 2 month painting break, this one was a long time favorite sculpt of mine. The colors I've used here are
Hair (and also nmm gold) - Beastial Brown to Bubonic Brown to Skull White (there was a very lite wash of Snakebite leather at one point as well to give a little extra depth to the shadows)
Dress - Shadow Grey to white (what you see here is litterally 50+ very thin layers of white
Skin - Elf Flesh - Wash of Dark Flesh and wash of Shadow Grey, highlights with thinned skull white
Her Eyes, Nails, Staff Gem - all Enchanted Blue to White
Staff - Snakebite leather basecoat, highlights to bleahed bone then skull white, shading with dark flesh
Sash, Wrists - Hawk Turquioise to skull white
Corset - Codex Grey, Ghostly Grey to skull White (slightly different white than the dress)

Wow! One question, the shadow on her back by her right arm (where the elbow sticks out) painted that was with the lightsource you used or just a shadow from the photograph?

I think that it's a little bit of both. I did specifically shade that recessed area behind the arm, but I believe the lighting in the photograph brought it out a bit more as well, as I don't think it's that dark in real life.

Eric, the subtle layers and smooth blending really make this stand out. And the hair, very nice. I think the snow weakens the beautiful whites of her dress, still, the turquoise almost makes up for it. Overall, another beautiful piece.

Such a soft look to her. Definately a credit to your skills. I think the snow really works for the piece. I am most impressed by her hair and the sash. Stunning work Eric.

Eric this piece is superb, I particularly like the blending on the white robes and the sash. The overall color scheme really makes this piece stand out for me.

A beautiful job on this mini. I can't add anything that hasn't already been said.
