I purchased this figure with the intent to try my hand at Chrome SE-NMM. The scales on the arm simply screamed for it. So, I gave it a shot and here's the result.
The polished steel/chrome was rendered using Arjay's (of Arjay's LOTD) chrome recipe. It's simple and super effective. Vallejo Model Color Azure, Reaper Walnut, and the white of your choice. I'm pleased with the result. I'll have to work at it more to achieve results as nice as Arjay's, but for a first shot, not bad, eh?
My second aim on this figure was to render a metallic silver hair, copying the style of Darkstar from CMoN and the Reaper boards. I think I need a bit more practice, but again -- not bad. Colors used: VMC Greys and White.
The rest of the figure was straight VMC colors with the exception of Reaper Walnut, which I use like crack.
Hope you enjoy. She was a pleasure to paint. Thanks in advance for you comments/critique.

Lovely mini, and lovely paint job for her. To start, it's interesting and refreshing to see a not green and brown elf. The chrome metals are gorgeous, and the white hair is very cool. The quiver is really the only part I don't think is quite as superb as the rest.

Fantastic piece Whiz. I would be extremely proud of this one if I were you. I would ask you a ton of questions on how you did it, but I wouldn't even know where to start. I salute you.

Lovely hair. Great blends. Nice presentation. Darklining is a bit inconsistant in places, but overall I think this is the best entry of the month.
