This is actually Osato the Shaolin Monk by Hasslefree. He has been painted, however, to be used in a friend's Greyhawk campaign as one of the player characters. Here is some history on the character:
"Red Shadow is a young monk of growing renown. He lost his memory and his body hair at a young age, although he can remember a few fractured memories of time with his parents when he had hair. Found lost in the wilds, a short succession number of creatures (a Dragon, a human ranger, an elven bard and finally a monestary) took pity on the exceptional boy and raised him to survive in the harsh lands of Greyhawk. Surviving the massacre of his monestary only a few months ago, Red Shadow is already developing mastery of the Steel Fist and Snake Fist styles. His will and overconfidence are both incredible and frightening to behold, and his trademark symbol is the Rune of Pursuit."
He has an olive skin tone, so I did just that. Mixed Vallejo Reflective Green in with my flesh tones for shading. I wanted a fairly intense shading as well, so that everyone at the gaming table would notice him :) His eyes are pure blue, and he has no hair whatsoever. The pants and socks are very dark red, nearly black in the shadows, and I layered the reds up from Cadmium maroon, Scar red, Vermilion and then some Light flesh for the highlights. The belt is similar but a much lighter mix than the pants.I also used various Citadel browns for his slippers, and the base is sculpted stone from greenstuff.
The sigils are interesting and vivid for the same reason as the skin. I painted them after spraying with gloss cote for protection purposes. They are Chaos black with some scar red and Vermilion bits. You may notice the symbol in the center of his black is actually the logo from Judas Priest \m/
He is meant to be a gaming piece and has also been sealed with extra dull-cote for that hands-on protection :)

The green shading is just freaky, but I think it works well to make him "outside the norm". Kinda risky, but I'll probably wind up stealing the idea at some point. :)

Nice, Glyn. Glad to see you're still at the painting.

Great job on the tattoos! What I can see of the face also looks super. And I really like the deep red colour on his pants. But my favourite part is probably the work on the sole of the shoe, an area not everyone would give such detail to.

This is definatly a crisp and clean paint scheme. Who would have thought that green skin would look so good. :)
