Forge World Nurgle Dreadnaught

Forge World Nurgle Dreadnaught
Description : This dread was a lot of fun to paint. How could it not be! I started with a base coat (over white) of Tamiya Sky and Tamiya khaki Drab. Lowlights consist mainly of shades of Valejo Trans. Woodgrain mixed with Trans. Orange. Highlights blended up to Valejo Ivory. I added some minor conversions such as the sculpted banner and bannerpoles and the converted arms as well as some other additions of rotting armor on varios parts of the model. I tried to keep focus points on the model such as the face and chestplates where a lot of detail and highlighting were at a premium. Other parts are dulled and muted a bit so as not to detract from the parts I want you to look at. Hopefully it worked...at least a little bit. If you have any questions just ask!

howdy - quite nice. I like the fact that is not 100 shades of green - lol. The red tones are a great counterpoint. peace

Nice job especially on the banner. We probably could have seen more if it were horizontal.
