A bit of whimsy with the mushroom was hand sculpted using Aves ApoxieClay, styrene and a brass tube. The rocks were just pieces of dried wall compound broken up and glue around the brass stem. To secure her, I used a highspeed drill bit at the pin from the mushroom cap to her foot.
All paints used were from the MSP paint line and here are the triads: Bone (mushroom) with black added, Ochre Golds (wings), Rosy Skin, Warm Greens (cloth), Warm Light Browns (spear), Red Browns (hair) with Fire Orange added. Just straight painting/layering. I tend to keep at least do 2:1 ratios for base coating, a 1:1 ratio when layering, and 4:1 or better for washes with the MSPs.

Howdy - great use of mellow and bright colors making her both 'real' and 'cartoony' together. The mushroom is quite nice in its simplicity. peace

Really nice job. I like the contrast on the wings and the red hair. The skin seems a little too pink and the blade looks like a lemon icicle from this angle. It could also have benefitted from being a horizontal panoramic. Still, very nice.
